At Special Surf 78, we believe the ocean is for everyone, without exception. From the very beginning of our surf school, our commitment to inclusion has been one of our top priorities. That’s why we have passionately and professionally developed an adaptive surf program designed for people with physical, intellectual, sensory, or other specific needs.
What Are Adaptive Surf Lessons?
Adaptive surf lessons are sessions designed to ensure that anyone, regardless of limitations, can experience the freedom and joy of being in the sea. We adapt our methods and teaching approach to meet each student’s needs, always focusing on safety, autonomy, and, above all, fun.
Beyond the physical aspect, adaptive surf lessons have a huge impact on the emotional, cognitive, and social development of each student:

Specialized and Passionate Team
Our team consists of qualified instructors, many with masters and postgraduate degrees in special education, as well as extensive sensitivity and experience working with people with different types of limitations. Each lesson is closely supervised, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment.
