Edgar and Nuno are the hosts of this fantastic surf house. They grew up surfing on the beach right in front of the house and spent their entire childhood in this privileged setting.
The house is located 20 metres from the cliff and offers stunning views over the ocean and sunset, as well as over the small Papôa Peninsula.
Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway, a family holiday, or a surf adventure with friends, Sunset House is the perfect choice to experience the best of Peniche.

Points of Interest
Just steps from our surf house lies the impressive Papoa Peninsula, a place where nature and history meet. This promontory preserves geological traces millions of years old, shaped by the Atlantic into a wild landscape full of character. Off this coast, the Spanish warship San Pedro de Alcántara, carrying treasures from Peru, sank in 1786.
Very close by is also Ponta do Trovão, known for the famous "Golden Nail," a geological landmark that reveals millions of years of Earth's history. At the top of the cliffs remain the ruins of the old chapel of Nossa Senhora do Abalo, from where you can admire incredible views over the ocean and the coast.
Following the coastline, you'll find the iconic Cabo Carvoeiro, one of Peniche's most impressive natural viewpoints. Its steep cliffs and rock formations, sculpted by the Atlantic over millions of years, create a unique landscape where the famous Nau dos Corvos rock stands out, its shape resembling a stone ship. On clear days, it's possible to see the magnificent Berlengas Archipelago in the distance, a protected nature reserve known for its crystal-clear waters and wild landscapes. This is also one of the best places in the region to watch the sunset and feel up close the power of the ocean that shapes this entire coast.
Right next to the house are some of the best beaches in the region. Peniche Bay – Baleal is known for its extensive beaches and ideal conditions for surfing, offering waves for all levels. Cova de Alfarroba Beach, where our surf school is located, is perfect for learning and improving your skills on the waves.
The famous Supertubos Beach hosts a stage of the World Surf League every year and is considered one of the best waves in Europe.
After a day at sea, the historic center of Peniche invites you to discover welcoming restaurants, fresh fish, and the genuine hospitality of this city connected to the ocean.
