On May 31, 2024, we celebrated World Children's Day with an Adapted / Inclusive Surfing event on Baleal and Peniche beaches for children with disabilities from School Groups from the municipality of Peniche, CerciPeniche, Agrupamento of Lourinhã Schools, and Group of Schools Henriques Nogueira.
It was a really fun morning with the children learning to surf regardless of their limitations. We received a total of more than 100 participants, including children and companions who enjoyed this activity, which is being repeated for the ninth time.
Thank you very much for everyone's presence and a special thank you to the volunteers who without them, it would be more difficult and of course to the Hotel Star inn Peniche who, in addition to logistical support, also offered a small snack to our children! It was a beautiful morning of surfing with lots of joy, Children's Day is every day
